Indonesia and Japan are two countries with typical both traditions and culture. Both countries also have historical background connection that is worth to learn. Japan becomes one of the destination country that Gotravindo offers to explore, since its culture is not only worth to learn, but also worth to compare. Being one of the most advanced nation existing in this current era, Japan has never neglected its tradition and culture. Instead, Japanese hold their tradition and culture as the priority in their daily lives and as an ideology in their decision-making process. For example, Japanese still consider chanoyu (茶の湯), or tea ceremony as sacred tradition. chanoyu (茶の湯) is a ceremony to purify one’s body and soul. This is why this sacred tea ceremony originality is still being kept and practiced.

The participants should prepare themselves for a more dynamic, fascinating and thrilling Japan with Japan Airlines. The participants will start flying and spend their overnight in the sky for incredible tomorrow’s journey in Tokyo, Japan.
ARRIVAL – AKIHABARA
The participants will arrive in the second day at Narita International Airport. After taking break for a little while, the participants will start the journey to Akihabara. Akihabara, or also known as the land of nerds or the geek central, is a place where technology meets culture. In this place, the participants will be encouraged to learn about the famous culture of otaku and also the cultural trademark of Japan, anime and manga.
INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION – TEA CEREMONY & KIMONO WEARING – ASAKUSA TEMPLE – TOKYO SKYTREE
Educational mission starts today, first the participants get challenged to complete the Cultural challenged. The participants will get workshop, learn about language and completed the test. After it, the participants will get International Certification from Gotravindo partner’s. Then, the participants will get workshop about tea ceremony and wearing kimono. Next, the participants will lead to asakusa temple and Tokyo Skytree.
TOKYO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY – ODAIBA – PANASONIC CENTER – TOSHIBA SCIENCE MUSEUM
The second day for Educational mission, it’s called Edu-Tech Challenged. The participants will get workshop and explore the laboratorium in Tokyo Institute of Technology. Then, the participants will get the real technology in Panasonic Center and Toshiba Science Museum.
CLOSING CEREMONY
Last day in Tokyo, the participants should give the final results of the education mission in Tokyo accompanied by the awarding of the best participants. Then, the participants will be directly transferred to the airport.
ARRIVAL IN INDONESIA
MISSION COMPLETED ! You will get documentation and report from Gotravindo. The whole journey will truly be ended when the participants step their feet on their country road, still the experience will be last forever. The participants are expected to have better point of view in apprehending cultural diversity and other global issues.

The academic content of the program is formulated by Gotravindo in collaboration with the Intercultural Institute of Japan, University of Tokyo, and Tokyo Institute of Technology.
The Industrial visit content of the program is formulated by Gotravindo in collaboration with Panasonic Center, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Bank of Japan.
Every participant will receive double an International Certification issued by Intercultural Institute of Japan and Gotravindo.
All selected delegates will be active in social project as a voluntary program of Gotravindo to support the Indonesian future development. Please be informed the social project name is SEMANGAT MEMBANGUN NEGERI.
Requirements for University Student Exchange Program :
– University Student or Graduated Student, age between 18-25 years old
– Physically and Mentally Healthy
– Good communication skill and knowledge
– Having good personality and attitude
