Istanbul Atatürk Airport – Blue Mosque – Topkapi Palace
The journey will start where the participants arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. They will first meet their PIC and directly be guided to most photogenic building in Istanbul, Blue Mosque. Ornamented by inferior glass, high ceilings and luxurious tiles, the participants will get the euphoria of undeniable civilization of Istanbul, Turkey. The participants’ first day journey will be completed by Topkapi Palace. This palace is a symbol of administrative Ottoman Sultans, and now becomes a large museum in Turkey. From these two places the participants will witness the evidence of great empire in the past.
Istanbul University – Yildiz Technical University – Taksim Square – Panorama 1453
On the next day, the participants will be given an opportunity to experience educational program in Istanbul University and Yildiz Technical University as two of the best universities in Turkey. What participants have will be campus tour and workshop session with lecturer or the representation of the university. The participants will not only visit the university, but also obtain the teaching-learning process in abroad, which is Turkey. The second day, will not only be spent by having campus visit, but also get a chance to visit Taksim Square as major tourism district around Turkey where many restaurants, shops and hotels laid on. The participants will be able to spend their leisure time there before heading to the next destination, Panorama 1453. Panorama 1453 is an historical museum and will be the best place for the participants to reveal the Ottoman lineage, and history of the Conqueror, Mehmed II. What is the more interesting things to learn but history? Nothing.
Bogazici University – Koç University – Miniatürk – Imaginarium – Galata Tower
The participants will be stop by at one of the prestigious university in Turkey, Bogazici University to have campus tour and meet the student ambassadors. Feeling the other atmosphere of Turkish university, the participants will be lead to Koç University as non-profit private university but becoming one of the leading universities in Turkey, and learn educational system in world class university. Not only campus visit that the participants will experience in the fourth day, but they also will feel like like a giant and discover Miniatürk as the largest miniature theme park in to world to see the whole Turkey in a day. After witnessing hundred miniature models, the participants will move to Imaginarium, toy stores, just for wandering and sightseeing. Furthermore, the participants will visit Turkish landmark, Galata Tower and enjoy the warm afternoon in Turkey.
Bosphorus – Spice Bazaar – Grand Bazaar – Hagia Sophia
The last day will be spent by visiting several destinations. Starting from Bosphorus, the participants will discover busy waterway, this is the crucial strait for economic flows in Turkey. Next, the participants will be guided to Spice Bazaar to explore Egyptian bazaar in Turkey and Grand Bazaar as the oldest covered market to see traditional Turkish stuffs that are identical with mosaic glass and beautiful ceramics. The last, but not least destination, the participants will once again be invited to observe another clue of great Turkish empire, in Byzantine era, Hagia Sophia – a classical Greek with a big golden dome museum/church. For the participant will be transferred to the airport, the journey will be completely done after the participants take their time to Hagia Shopia.
