Middle / High School Exchange Programme in Malaysia is an educational program by GOTRAVINDO on December 11th – 14th , 2017.
Considered as our nearest neighboring country, Malaysia is a perfect place for Indonesian student to learn and express their ideas about the rapid growth of economy and its challenges. Being among the brightest minds all around Malaysia, there will be so many new ideas and insights that come out to the horizon. With a deep analisys and the right method of application also with the international platform for a deep discussion with the global citizen, hopefully the young visionaries from Indonesia can be more encouraged to tackle the economic challenges that their country is currently facing.

FACTORY VISIT AND EXPLORATION
Visit one of the biggest pewter factories in the globe and explore the process of pewter cultivation and preparation. Get some new insights and knowledge about pewter and its function also about its contribution to the country’s welfare.

Learn the history of Malaysia by visiting some of internationally recognized landmarks all across the country.

Learning about economy is all about applying the knowledge on the real life. This is why economic strategy learning and market analysis is unbelievably important. There is no better way to learn economic strategy and market analysis other than learning from the experts and from real life evidence that economic strategy is very important.
Jakarta – Kuala Lumpur – Putra Jaya – Bukit Bintang
To start the journey, the participants will have a flight from Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Stepping out from the plane, the committees will welcome all participants at the meeting point in Kuala Lumpur International Airport. All participants will be given airport assistance and will be escorted to the first destination of the journey, Putra Jaya. Putra Jaya serves as the administrative center of Malaysia. It has a very unique and singular architecture that the participants can examine and learn about. Leaving Putra Jaya, the participants will be brought to Bukit Bintang to experience Malaysian social life and to have dinner before going to the hotel and settling in for the night.
University of Malaya – Royal Selangor Pewter Factory – Petronas – Sungai Wang
After getting ready at the hotel, the participants will be attending an economy workshop at University of Malaya. Not only will the participants get an informative workshop, but they also will be taken to a brief tour of the campus to feel the learning atmosphere. Leaving the campus, the participants will be taken to visit Royal Selangor Pewter Factory to explore and to learn about pewter industry in one of the biggest pewter factories in the globe. Continuing the journey, the participants will be taken to the most iconic landmark of Malaysia, the twin towers of Petronas and Sungai Wang to take a closer look to busy trading activities of Malaysian before going back to the hotel to recharge their energy.
Dataran Merdeka – International School of Kuala Lumpur – Batu Caves – Central Market
On the third day, the participants will be brought to Dataran Merdeka, the old and historical part of Malaysia. To add their knowledge science and technology in a very fun way, the participants will visit and discussion about Education at International School of Kuala Lumpur. After that, the participants will be taken to visit one of the most historical landmarks in Malaysia, Batu Caves. With its fenomenal giant gold statue, the participants will learn about the history and backstory about Batu Caves. To get real experience of trading and to analyze the economic life of Malaysia, the participants will be taken to the busy Central Market to witness and examine everything by their own eyes. The participants are also encouraged to analyze the market and business opportunity that hopefully can help them in the near future.

After breakfasting and packing their bags, the participants will have a closing ceremony to officially end the journey. Every journey has it ends. With good memories and new insights, the participants will take a flight back to Indonesia. Before hoping into the plane, the participants along with the committees will have one las exploration to Taman Botani Putrajaya and Masjid Putra. By joining the program, the participants are hoped to be able to apply and implement all knowledge they got from the journey.

Academic Partners are universities and higher education institutions, public or private that collaboration with Gotravindo. The academic content of the program is formulated by Gotravindo in collaboration with the University of Malaya and International School of Kuala Lumpur.
Every participant will receive an International Certification issued by Gotravindo and partner program
All selected delegates will be active in social project as a voluntary program of Gotravindo to support the Indonesian future development. Please be informed the social project name is SEMANGAT MEMBANGUN NEGERI.
Requirements for Middle/Highschool Student Exchange Program :
– Middle or HighSchool Student aged between 13 – 17 years old
– Physically and Mentally Healthy
– Good communication skill and knowledge
– Having good personality and attitude
– Deal to real contribution in World Education
– Able to pay program FEE
The participation fee for the INSIDE exchange Program is $450 and includes :
* All selected delegates can choose the location of facility departure at CGK (Soekarno-Hatta) and Kualanamu (Medan) airports. If there are number of participants> 10 in one city outside the Airport facility, then it can be done according to the Airport of choice of participants with the financing of the standard airline in the 2 airports that have been provided. The excess costs are borne by the participants.
